We wish to say a big thank you to those residents and families that took part in the coffee afternoon on 27thSeptember.  This was a great chance to catch up with family and friends and enjoy a cake or two!

We have been on lots of interesting trips in September; we’ve been to Chester on a Narrow boat and theatre trips including the Good Old Days Show at the Floral Pavilion.  Sadly as the weather is changing we won’t be going on as many ice cream afternoons but hope to still go for coffees and pub lunches.  We will also continue to attend the monthly tea dances at the Floral Pavilion.

Our ladies also enjoyed a special make up afternoon this monthOur ladies also enjoyed a special make up afternoon this month, professional make up artist * spent the afternoon making our ladies look glamorous.  This event was very popular and we hope to do this again soon.

We have several birthdays in September, George Cook and Griffith Jones hit the big 90 and Vera Simcock turned a young 85.  Congratulations to all!

As always if you have any suggestions of trips or activities you would like to see incorporated in the programme, please see Joanne or Richard.
